By default, survey results are private to you and your workspace admins. Result sharing opens the dashboard to the people who answered, so the whole team sees the outcome instead of waiting for someone to summarise it. It is off until you turn it on, and you can turn it back off whenever you want.
Turn it on when you create the survey
On the Share Survey modal, set Public results to “Participants can see the results.” Anyone who answers gets a link to the dashboard once they submit.
Turn it on (or off) later
Open the survey in the Surveys App Home and click Share results. Surveys confirms what will happen, then sends everyone who has already answered a direct message with a link. The button changes to Sharing on; click it again to stop sharing and make the results private. People who answer after you turn it on get their link automatically.
What respondents see
After someone submits, the confirmation shows a View results button, and the survey’s invite message carries one too. Both open the same web dashboard you see, with the per-question charts. If someone clicks through before answering, Surveys asks them to answer first.
Anonymity is preserved
Sharing never reveals who said what. On an anonymous survey, the shared dashboard shows aggregate counts only, names stay hidden, and the under-three-respondents guardrail still applies. See How anonymity works.
Turn it back off
Stop sharing any time from the same Share results button. The results become private again, and the links respondents had stop working with a polite note. Turning sharing on again later re-notifies the people who answered.
